Minor Midget, 2012-2013 (Elgin-Middlesex Canucks)

    The Minor Midgets go undefeated to capture the 2012-13 Alliance championship yesterday after a 6-2 victory over the Waterloo Wolves in game 4. The team swept  the Wolves in 4 games to maintain their winning streak and prevail victorious.     OHL Central Scouting announced yesterday in the fourteenth ranking addition that the Elgin Middlesex Chiefs have become the first team to officially qualify for the OHL Cup. “The Elgin Middlesex Chiefs became the first team to officially qualify for the 2013 OHL Cup Showcase Tournament by advancing to the ALLIANCE Championship with their series win over the Kitchener Jr. Rangers.
