The Canucks played hard for a split weekend going 2-2 playing some competitive opponents.
Game 1 vs. North Shore
In a rematch from the Titans Early Bird Tournament, the Canucks earned redemption with a commanding 5–1 victory over North Shore. It was a dominant performance from start to finish, showcasing strong team play and balanced scoring.
Game 2 vs. Biosteel Academy
The second matchup of the weekend featured another rematch, this time against Biosteel Academy. Despite a strong effort, the Canucks fell 6–1. The two teams will meet again in December as the Canucks look to even the season series in their third and final matchup.
Game 3 vs. Indiana Elite
In a tightly contested game, the Canucks’ offensive depth proved decisive in a 6–4 win over Indiana Elite, keeping their playoff hopes alive and setting up a chance to advance.
Game 4 vs. Hill Academy
The Canucks faced a formidable opponent in Hill Academy, a program ranked in the Ontario top ten in 2024. The team battled hard and narrowly missed tying the game with a goal that came just after the buzzer, ultimately falling 3–2 in a valiant effort.
Team Appreciation
The Canucks players, staff, and families extend their gratitude to Top of the Fair for hosting the team and providing a fantastic lunch buffet. Special thanks also go to the London Knights OHL organization for accommodating the team’s group outing on Saturday night.
Looking Ahead
The Canucks open their home schedule on Saturday, October 18, against the Lambton Sting at 2:15 p.m. at the Komoka Wellness Centre. The team will then play back-to-back home games, facing the Windsor Jr. Spitfires on Sunday, October 19.
