The Cup AAA Tournament Champions
The EMC U12 group put together an excellent performance this past weekend, finishing the tournament with a championship win capped by a 5–1 victory over Don Mills Flyers in the final.
The team was strong defensively throughout the event, allowing just five goals over seven games. Round-robin play saw the team go 3-0-1, including a hard-fought 2–2 tie against the Buffalo Jr. Sabres. In the playoff rounds, the group showed composure and consistency, earning two tight 2–1 wins over Amherst and Quinte to advance. Strong goaltending, committed team defense, and timely scoring up and down the lineup defined the weekend and led to a well-deserved tournament title.
