Connor Olson, Roster, Major Midget, 2018-2019 (Elgin-Middlesex Canucks)

Connor is an excellent skater - smooth with agility and balance - both backward and forward.   While defending his proficient lateral skating mobility makes him very hard to play against on the rush and in his defensive zone.  In addition this enables him to be very effective at playing the man and/or taking the body.    Offensively, he combines his skating with good puckhandling skills to get the puck moving out of his zone and sometimes stepping up with speed to join the rush and creating an odd-man up ice advantage.   Connor also provides a hard accurate shot from the point and is knows when to sneak ‘back door’ as a pass option.
