Nathan Small, Roster, Major Midget, 2018-2019 (Elgin-Middlesex Canucks)

Nathan is an excellent skater with a strong stride and deceptive rink length speed.  He has huge upside as an offensive Dman primarily because of his ability to rush the puck and gain the offensive zone creating scoring chances and sometimes scoring. He demonstrates good vision with the puck while on the rush and distributes the puck smart on the powerplay.  Defensively Nathan has a ‘good stick’ down low in his own zone that enables him to strip pucks and/or knock them out of danger.   Nathan is also very strong on his skates and is very adept at delivering crushing open ice body checks.
