Major Peewee, 2016-2017 (Elgin-Middlesex Canucks)

The '04 Chiefs finished the season strong with a quarter-final appearance in the 2017 Buffalo Cup posting a record of 3-1-1 for the tournament.  With some key improvements the Major Peewee Chiefs were able to capture first place in the Alliance West and a first round bye in the playoffs.  Having completed the opening rounds of playoffs the team is where they hoped they would be having earned an opportunity to compete in the Alliance Finals!  Go Chiefs!

Looking back at 2016 the '04 Chiefs have much to be proud of and thankful for. Team fundraising was organized and completed and the team enjoyed a great tournament and road trip experience in South Bend, IN at the STX Super Series posting a 3 - 2 record. Most recently, the '04 Chiefs posted three shutouts on route to a perfect 4 - 0 record and first overall seed at the Burlington Tournament. A great start to the 2016-2017 season.  After Achieving some success in the first few league games of the regular season, the '04 Chiefs were excited to meet the challenges the Buffalo Super Series would present.  Against very fast and physical competition the team progressively improved its team play.  The Coaching staff is very proud of the progress the team has made and pleased with how the players have acclimated to both each other and the level of play.
