SIX CANUCKS SELECTED IN OHL PRIORITY DRAFT
A huge congratulations to the six Elgin Middlesex Canucks players who were selected in the 2025 OHL Draft!
On the opening night, which featured the first three of fifteen rounds, Lucas Nutting was selected by the Flint Firebirds in the second round, 33rd overall. Shortly after, Chase Sewell was picked up by the Sarnia Sting in the third round at 54th overall. Rounding out the night, Owen Miniotas had the honour of being drafted by his hometown team, the London Knights.
The second day of the draft, spanning rounds 4 through 15, saw three more Canucks earn their place in the OHL. Chase Griffith was proudly selected by his hometown London Knights in the sixth round at 117th overall. Myles Dunn followed, picked by the Sarnia Sting in the eighth round at 157th overall. Lastly, Gavin Kindree capped off an incredible draft for the Canucks, joining the Niagara IceDogs in the fourteenth round at 272nd overall.
