Evan Van Gorp has announced his commitment to play NCAA Division I Hockey at the University of Maine (Hockey East).
During the 2022-23 season, Evan played on a strong Elgin Middlesex Canucks U18 team. In the following season, he joined EMC Coach mentor Jason Williams and played 17 games with the Strathroy Rockets of the GOJHL before being called up by the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League.
With the Knights, he contributed to their OHL Championship victory and their near win in the 2023-2024 Memorial Cup.
This year, Evan has continued his journey with the Knights, posting 16 goals, 19 assists, and 35 points in 54 games played, and he is currently ranked #215 on NHL Central Scouting.
