Quebec International Pee-Wee Tournament
Representing both the organization and our local communities,
the U13 Elgin Middlesex Canucks competed in the Quebec International Pee-Wee
Tournament in Quebec City from February 10 to 16. This premiere minor
hockey tournament brought together 30 top AAA teams from around the
world. During the week, the boys played 6 games against top teams from
the U.S., British Columbia, Quebec and Slovakia. Highlights included a
7-3 win against Semiahmoo (B.C.), who would eventually make the tournament
finals, and an exciting 5-4 shootout win over Slovakia. The boys would
like to sincerely thank their sponsors and the EMC Association for giving them the opportunity to
experience this once-in-a-lifetime event.
