Meet Elgin Middlesex Chiefs U13 AAA Hockey Team
This is a driven group of dedicated players that have come together to take the 2021/2022 season by storm!
The U13 EMC Chiefs represent 9 communities in the Middlesex region based out of Komoka, Ontario. These players are the product of hard work and resiliency. These players take pride in representing their communities and competing at the highest level of competitive hockey available for their age.
The return to sport has been a challenge for them both mentally and physically. They have taken every challenge with a positive attitude. These athletes have maintained focus and creativity with their conditioning to secure a spot on this team. We encouraged them to dream big and work hard and they have stepped up to the challenge every step of the way.
The U13 EMC team also believes in using their platform to give back to the community. Recently, the team was successful in participating in a Bottle Drive that raised $3,000 in support of SMGH Breast Screening program and will be collecting Wish List items over the holidays for our local Ronald McDonald house. In September the team supported the “Every Child Matters” initiative by coming together to create awareness in a spirit of reconciliation and hope.
