Sheldon is a good skater with quickness, speed and the ability to change direction quickly.   He also has excellent puck handling skills - and the puck does not slow him down. Sheldon also possesses above average hockey smarts.  His ability to anticipate and see the ice well make him an excellent playmaker and scorer.   Sheldon is also very capable at face-offs - above 65% most games.
