Nolan Adkins, Roster, Major Midget, 2018-2019 (Elgin-Middlesex Canucks)

Nolan is a very good skater with a stick skills to match.   He understands and embraces his role as a defensive defenseman that plays the game with a physical edge and finishes every check.    This does not mean he has no offensive skills - he has just decided that this is the type of player he wants to be.  Nolan takes pride in being a shut down guy that always plays against the other team’s top forwards or late in the game protecting a one goal lead.   He also takes pride in his PK role as well as blocking shots.   Nolan’s good skating skills enable him to play with good gap control defending the rush and is very efficient defending with stick on stick down low in his own zone.  As well as being a reliable defender, Nathan has good vision and moves the puck smart and quick in all 3 zones
