Chiefs Sweep Sarnia in Series
In this game, the Sarnia Sting came out fast with a goal in their second shift of the game taking advantage of a two on one opportunity. There were no other goals in the first period.
In the second period, the Chiefs got on track and had many opportunities to score. They persevered to eventually tie it up 1-1 and then scored another goal to take the lead by the end of the second.
They went up 3-1 in the third, capitalizing on the Sting taking more penalties as the period progressed.
The game ended 3-1 for the Chiefs, ending the 4-point series in just two games.
The Chiefs now wait to see who they will play in their next playoff round, the winner of Chatham vs Windsor.
