Chiefs Earn Win in Sun County, News, Major Peewee, 2011-2012 (Elgin-Middlesex Canucks)

The Chiefs traveled to Sun County Sunday afternoon for their second game of the season.  The first period saw fast back and forth action and a number of penalties called against both teams.  The Chiefs came out strong in the second, scoring the first two goals of the game.  With the Chiefs up 2-0 going into the third, Sun County fought back and eventually scored a goal within the last five minutes of the game.  The Chiefs were on their heels as Sun County pressed but the Chiefs goalie closed the door and the players fought hard to maintain the win.  The game ended 2-1 for the Chiefs.

The Chiefs host the London Junior Knights on Wednesday.
