The Elgin Middlesex Chiefs organization is pleased to announce that our President, Karen daSilva, has been recognized by the Alliance Minor Hockey Association with the 2020/2021 Award of Merit.
A longtime volunteer with the Chiefs, including the past 3 years as President, Karen has been instrumental in elevating our organization to its current high standards, always going above and beyond. Since the pandemic hit, Karen has worked tirelessly to ensure that our players had every possible opportunity to be on the ice.
She spent countless hours in meetings and on calls advocating for our players, designing return to play plans and working with our COVID team to implement safety protocols.
