COVID19 - Update and Guidance for Chiefs Families
The Ontario government has announced stricter public health measures for all Ontarians as well as some targeted measures for other areas such as Toronto, Peel and Ottawa. Public Health is asking all Ontarians to limit their close contact to household members only. They are asking you not to "socialize" with anyone else outside of your household at this time. All Ontarians must wear masks while in public places, including shopping malls and public transit as well as all workplaces where distancing by 2 metres is not possible.

What does this mean for Chiefs?

EMC will continue with hockey programming at this time. Please remember to complete a Symptom Screening Questionnaire before you enter the facility, wash your hands upon entrance, wear a mask and physically distance by 2 metres in and outside of the facility.

We will continue to ask all of our members to respect their hockey bubbles and please comply with all of the measures put in place by Public Health Ontario.

If you are feeling unwell or have symptoms of COVID-19, do not participate in programming, stay home, take a self screening assessment at https://covid-19.ontario.ca/self-assessment/, follow safe return to play guidelines already in place and notify your trainer or a member of the COVID Response Team.

We are asking everyone to keep vigilant with other safety measures such as washing hands frequently, wearing masks when in public spaces and cleaning your equipment and environments regularly.

The above measures have been put in place to keep all people safe and limit the spread of COVID-19.

We thank all of you for your continued support and diligence at this time.
