EMC Registration FYI - No Tryouts/Evaluations Until Further Notice
We have been inundated with calls and emails about the  "Session 1" registration increment for September 14 to November 1.   We understand that many of you have questions and concerns regarding our inability to offer tryouts/evaluations.  Because we are a Zone Centre, we are not permitted to have players attend tryouts or evaluations unless they have "permission to skate" from their home centre (our feeder centres).  As a result,  registration is currently open only to those players who played in our association for the 2019/20 season.

While we are well aware that other teams in the Alliance and leagues across Ontario are offering ‘evaluations’ and forming new rosters at all age groups,  at this point we are stuck in limbo as we await a decision on when or if the required ‘permission to skate’ will be granted for players that wish to be considered for EMC AAA hockey.

I can assure you that our EMC board is working very hard and negotiating in good faith with the Alliance in hopes that a resolution will come soon between the OMHA and the OHF that will accommodate players who desire the opportunity to be evaluated.   If anything new is announced we will post accordingly ASAP here on our website.   In the meantime we encourage all current Chiefs to register and keep skating - and to those of you that wish become a Chief, please be patient and hopefully we will have good news soon.
