Hockey in our area is now
in Stage 3B of the OHF Return to Play and Elgin Middlesex Chiefs is now
accepting registrations for the 2020-21 season.
This first session of hockey will be a two-month season – September and
October. Registrations are due by September 9 and the season will start on
September 14.
Session 1 -September
14th through November 1st– 7 weeks
** Participants will be asked to sign up and pay a registration fee of $660 for the first session. Please register by
Sept 9. Payment is due
Sept 11.
The registration fee includes the following:
- Three 1.5-hour ice times per week (4.5 hours total per week)
- These 3 ice times consist of 2 practices and 1 game (4 on 4). Games TBD and who we will be able to play depends on what stage in the return to play we are at. In our current provincial phase, we are able to play LJK as they are within our Public Health Unit (PHU).
- Alliance fees, OHF and Hockey Canada fees and Insurance included.
Eligibility
- The OHF and Alliance has stipulated the following regarding which players in the U11 to U16 age range can register with Elgin Middlesex Chiefs for these sessions:
- Players who were registered in Elgin in the 2019-20 Season as their primary association. This includes F-1s who were on an EMC roster for the 2019-20 season.
- Please note that an AP player is not eligible, even if they were on the approved roster.

Elgin Middlesex Chiefs reserves the right to refuse refunds. In the event of a shut-down of hockey due to COVID-19 no refunds will be issued for the time missed, however credits may be applied to registration for future sessions.
Steps to Register:
- Email our registrar at [email protected] and confirm that you want to register for the first session. Please register by September 9.
- Send an e-transfer of $660 to [email protected] .Please indicate the player name and age group on the transfer payment. The password to use is Chiefs. Payment is due by September 11.
