Mental Health Awareness Day - Nov 23 12-6 in Komoka
The Major Midgets are hosting Mental Health Awareness Day  Saturday, Nov 23 at the Komoka Wellness Center from 12-6 pm.  While several Chiefs teams take the ice throughout the day, fundraising activities include a silent auction, chili/soup and baked goods sale. All funds raised will go to support the Major Midget team's Mental Health Awareness Campaign.

In addition, the Major Midgets will be selling Babsocks for $20 per pair.  $14 from each pair sold goes toward Mental Health Awareness, and the team raising the highest amount is awarded a practice with Mike Babcock.

The Major Midgets will be joined by their Major Atom buddies in this important initiative of raising awareness of Mental Health in youth/athletes.  There will be lots of on-ice action throughout the day, culminating at 4:00 pm as the Major Midgets take on the London Jr Knights.   Full schedule below.

Minor Atom @ 12:15 vs Kitchener Jr Rangers
Minor Bantam @ 1:15 vs Kitchener Jr Rangers
Major Atom @ 2:45 vs Brantford 99ers
Major Midget @ 4:00 vs London Jr Knights

The team has taken up this cause in honour of a family member who lost his battle with mental illness this year.  We invite all Chief families, friends and fans to come out and support them as they raise funds for Mental Health Awareness.Come out and support an amazing cause, get your Babsocks and cheer on the boys!  #Babsocks #onesockatatime#endthestigma#itsoktonotbeok
