Chiefs Remember Brad Ostrom
The Elgin Middlesex Chiefs are sad to report that local coaching legend Brad Ostrom passed away Monday morning.  Brad coached the 2006 Chiefs for their Minor and Major Peewee seasons, the last team in a coaching career that spanned over 40 years.   At Chiefs Day in 2018, he was awarded the Alliance gold pin for his continuous service to the organization throughout its history.

Brad is survived by his wife Becky and sons Sean and Andrew.  He is remembered by Drew Doughty and Nazem Kadri, and scores of other young players he has coached on the way to the OHL and NHL, as reported in the following article: Link to Sportsnet article

A celebration of Brad's life will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel on Sunday, Sept 22.  Details maybe found on the Westview website  click for details

Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.
