Last season the EMC Board put in a bid
to host a London Knight's exhibition game in Komoka as an Association
wide fundraising initiative. We won the bid and will be hosting the OHL
game on Saturday September 16th in Komoka. We are also hosting the
Bantam Showcase Weekend from September 15-17, so the arena is ours for
the entire weekend, and it will be buzzing!
We will be running a BBQ and Bake Sale on the 16th. If your team would like to participate by manning the bbq and bake sale tables for a period of time that day, please let me know, and a portion of the profits from those sales will go to your team.
We need plenty of supplies for the Knights vs Erie Otters game. I will list the items needed below, and perhaps you know of someone who can donate, or give us a deal. If you know someone from Shoppers Drug Mart or Pharma Plus for example, that could provide a few of these items for us, let me know and perhaps we can work out some sort of sponsorship recognition.
Shower Towels - approx 60
12 oz bottle of Hand Sanitizer x 4
Body wash for the showers 4 large bottles
Deodorant - Spray cans x 8
Hair Gel 4 large bottles
Sleeves of Gatorade cups need 200 cups
Medical/massage table to borrow for the night
8 Cases of water
Cases of Gatorade and bottles for the benches
25 new game pucks
15 XL pizzas (5/team post game and 5 pre game for media and coaches)
Catered box meal for players to take on the bus on way home (some sort of sandwich on a ciabatta for example)
BBQ items (hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, condiments, paper plates, napkins, chips, drinks)

London Knights vs Erie Otters Saturday September 16th 7pm
We will be running a VIP section in the London Life Rooms for the game.
VIP includes private bar area, private washrooms and viewing from the second level. These tickets are $25, and we are only selling 130 of them.
General Admission tickets are $20
Free parking
Both teams will be available after the game for autographs
Licensed area on main floor as well
If your team would like tickets, managers/fundraising reps - please let me know how many by THIS Friday and have a team chq ready for payment, parents can pay you. Tickets go on sale to the public next week.

volunteers to help with taking tickets, security, 50/50, bar area, clean up and other various jobs
volunteers to bake/donate items for the bake sale
Volunteers will not require a ticket to the game, however, their family members who wish to attend, will require a ticket If you would like to help out, please let me know.
