Chiefs mourn loss of former player
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the loss of Reid Marchand. Reid was a goalie on for the '92 Chiefs squad. 





MARCHAND, Reid William -  Beloved son Reid Marchand passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 20, 2017. Born on February 22, 1992, in London, Ontario, Reid is a recent graduate of the University of Western Ontario with a double degree in Psychology and a Specialization degree in Economics. He enjoyed being outdoors golfing, fishing, boarding and being active. Looking for adventure and trying new things were his passion. Reid loved nature and being with friends. His youth was filled with playing competitive Hockey for the 92 Chiefs as a Goalie which he loved. Reid never wanted to do just one thing: he played baseball, lacrosse, soccer and all sports. Filled with a love for friendship and compassion, Reid enjoyed being with his friends.

Reid is survived by his parents Denise Marchand (McClenaghan) and Greg Marchand; his grandparents Pat and Joe Marchand and Bill and Frances McClenaghan; his Aunts and Uncles: Brad and Danielle, Mark and Ana, Julie and Bob and Keith and Sue; and cousins Craig, Shane, Tyler, Sydney, Adam and Nicolas.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, July 27th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment at St. Peter's Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Reid are asked to consider Make-A-Wish Southwestern Ontario.
