The Elgin Middlesex Chiefs Executive
would like to join all our coaches in congratulating and welcoming all players
to the 2016/2017 rosters. We wish you all a great season.
We have some reminders for all players
and parents. There will be mandatory
team meetings Monday April 25th and Tuesday April 26th in
the Komoka arena. Please check your team
website for the specific time and day for your team.
Meetings will include:
1) Mandatory team fitting - bring shin pads, pants / girdle, shoulder pads to properly fit and size your jersey, pant shell and socks. Payment for these items must be made IN FULL at the time of sizing. Bauer and Pete’s Sports will be conducting the sizing and will have other team apparel available.
Players, please be ready to select your jersey number to complete the team roster. Jerseys will be ordered after first team meeting.
2) Roster signing. Parents, please bring three post-dated registration cheques to the signing meeting.
All post-dated registration cheques must be submitted during the team meeting. The registration fee for the 2016/2017 season is $2,000.00 payable in 3 installments:
September 15 - $700.00
October 1 - $700.00
November 1 - $600.00
The registration cheques are payable to Elgin Middlesex Hockey Alliance (EMHA). All registration cheques will be cashed. Sponsor cheques will be handled through team accounts and should be made payable to the team bank account. Team treasurers will be responsible for tracking player sponsors and issuing sponsor receipts.
Payment is necessary to our Organization budgeting to meet our ongoing commitments.
Annual Chiefs Golf Tournament:
The Annual Chiefs Golf Tournament will take place on August 10, 2016 at the Oaks Golf Course in Delaware. This is an important and fun fundraiser for the organization. Please also be reminded that we will need volunteers for this year’s Golf Tournament. Mark your calendars and please reach out to the organization Fundraiser rep if you are interested in volunteering.
