The Elgin Middlesex Chiefs would like to invite our members to a Semi-Annual General Meeting on Monday January 25th at 6:00pm in Komoka.
The Chiefs executive have been hard at work the last 6 months reviewing and identifying opportunities for improvements to our processes, rules and regulations and constitution.
The Semi-Annual General Meeting is an opportunity to provide an update on our progress as an organization, and vote on revisions to the Constitution and Rules and Regulations.
Seven (7) amendments have been drafted and are posted as "Notice of Motion" on the Documents and Forms section of elginmiddlesexchiefs.com under
Organizational Documents and Forms.
These documents have been posted for our membership to review and provide feedback on. Feedback may be submitted in writing to
[email protected], through your team's parent rep, or by attending the Semi-Annual General Meeting in January.
These are important updates to how our organization functions. Please review and provide any feedback you may have. The posted Notices of motion are subject to revision and will be finalized on January 25th. These Notice of Motion documents include revisions to:
- Membership definitions
- The Executive Board definitions
- Coach Selection process
- Deadlines for Registration Fees
- Honorarium
- Parent Rep Definition
- Zone Centers wording
All teams must have a minimum of 4 voting members in attendance at the Semi-Annual General meeting (not including executive members).
