The Elgin Middlesex Canucks are thrilled to announce that EMC alumnus and lifelong Canuck, Lucas Nutting, has officially signed with the Flint Firebirds of the Ontario Hockey League.
Lucas was selected 33rd overall in the second round of the 2025 OHL Priority Draft by Flint. Having spent his entire minor hockey career with the Canucks, Lucas has consistently demonstrated leadership, dedication, and a strong work ethic—qualities that have made him a role model for his teammates and peers.
We couldn’t be prouder of Lucas and all he has accomplished. Congratulations and best of luck on this exciting new chapter!
