The Elgin Middlesex Canucks organization congratulate Austin Brekelmans on his commitment to Bowling Green State University.
Before advancing to play for the prestigious Culver Military Academy in Indiana, Austin spent seven seasons with the Elgin Middlesex Canucks, contributing to multiple championship-winning teams including four Alliance Championships, Minor Atom and Minor Peewee International Silver Stick Champions (Gloria Rints Memorial).
Austin also played for Jason Williams and the Strathroy Rockets of the GOJHL and was selected by the North Bay Battalion in the 2024 OHL Draft.
The Canucks wish Austin all the best as he looks ahead to his next chapter at Bowling Green State University, a program with a rich history in NCAA Division I hockey.
