Former Chief Drafted 37th Overall in NHL Entry
Congratulations to Boone Jenner drafted 37th overall by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the June NHL entry draft!  Boone started his career with the Chiefs in Minor Atom.  Boone was the captain of his Chief’s Minor Midget team that was a finalist in the OHL cup.  He went on to be selected fourth overall in the OHL priority draft and 37th overall in the NHL draft. Obviously a hockey family, Boone's 2 brothers also played for the Chiefs and went on to play Jr. hockey.  Boone’s father, Matt, was a coach for the Chiefs for a number of years.
